The quality robust construction of the Cloveragri Heavy Duty Mulcher Mower Series makes them stand out from its competitors. Heavy duty special reinforced angular gearbox, heavy duty drive shaft and hammer blades with rear open bonnet are just some of the outstanding features.

The heavy duty mulcher series is well suited to farm tractors from 60hp upwards.
A mulcher mower advantage over a slasher is :

The Modern design and technology of a mulcher is fast replacing the old traditional Slasher. The safety is also improved with a mulcher as all pasture is cut inside the main body and only discharged as finer less dangerous clippings.

The heavy duty mulcher series are driven using a supplied P.T.O shaft via the tractors rear mounted Power Take Off ( PTO ). Being offset to the right hand side of the tractor allows the mulcher / mower to easily cut close to fence lines or under trees.

Due to the open rear bonnet, maintenance work or changing hammer blades is easily accessible. Please be informed that the bonnet has to be closed while operating.

The specially hardened, 1.2 kg hammer blades, which are arranged on a double spiral drive shaft, shred clippings to a minimum size. Even very high grass, bushy or straw-like clippings are no problem for this mower!

The mulcher additionally has a trailing roller and a freewheel gearbox. The cutting height can be set with the adjustable roller and side mounted skids. The suspended, galvanized safety covers at the front of the mower unit prevents stones or other foreign objects escaping.

Hydraulic side shift comes standard on the VMZ. By using the hydraulic side shift function the mulcher can be moved to both left and right. For this function you need a hydraulic control circuit on your tractor, as the mower unit has a double-action hydraulic cylinder for this purpose.
